It is always nice to spend time with family. Even though we didn't do anything major, the time spent was very relaxing and enjoyable.
It was also nice to spend time with my in-laws bringing in the New Year. We played games and watched movies. It was fun and relaxing as well. As you can see, we enjoyed relaxing over the break.
We will be heading back to DC on February 25 for my sister's wedding. It will be fun too! 2005/10/31 ACA Annual SummitI just got back from the Annual Summit for the Appalachian College Association. I attended this conference and presented on Project Management and how to integrate your hiring process into the project management philosophy.
The attendance was really good; a lot better than I expected. My co-presenter, Ashley Baumhardt, did an excellent job as well.
I look forward to attending and presenting at this conference next year. 2005/10/3 Morning after a Nice WeekendOk! I had my first test in Quatitative Analysis for Management and I think I did pretty good. We will review the test tomorrow in class. Therefore, I should have a better idea of what I made. We went to Lexington, KY this past weekend. One of Stacey's old friends got married this weekend and it turned out to be a really nice wedding. It was good to see the in-laws this weekend as well. Email: info@ntucker.com 2005/9/26 Nate in San Francisco CAI just got back from San Francisco CA. I went out there for a conference with Software Quality Engineering. This was one of the best conferences I've been to. It was very technical and not a lot of vendor hype.
San Francisco is a really neat place. It was cool to see some of the same places in real life that you see on tv. I went to the Fisherman's Wharf, Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Lombard Street, and Ghiradelli Square to name a few. It was cool to see everyone down on the strip at Pier 39.
If you haven't been to San Fran, I highly recommend visiting this wonderful city. |
